Evaluation of Strengh of Cardboard Maples: Key Parameters and Experimental Validation for MAPLECRUZ SRL
##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main##
Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the compressive strength of molded cardboard or molded pulp maples in real time through a computational system, optimizing quality control at MAPLECRUZ. Method: RESIS-APP, a hardware and software system, was designed to measure the mechanical strength of molded cardboard maples, combining pressure sensors, electronic balance and data processing with Arduino and Processing, including a specialized module for the automatic generation of reports. Results: Tests with RESIS-APP revealed variations in compressive strength, identifying products of lower structural quality, automating measurements, reducing human errors and optimizing product validation. Conclusion: The implementation of RESIS-APP provides an effective and accurate tool to improve quality control at MAPLECRUZ, ensuring that the molded paperboard or pulp blocks meet the standards required by customers and reducing claims of insufficient strength.
