Abstract
Teaching in design courses was conceived, from the beginning of these courses in Cuba, for a face-to-face model. With the development of information and communications technologies, the challenge arises of how to implement design courses with the support of these tools in the face-to-face modality, and their extension to blended and non-face-to-face or online modalities. The covid-19 pandemic and the declaration of the suspension of face-to-face classes in schools and universities as a social distancing measure, implied the accelerated adoption of virtual teaching-learning environments to continue with educational processes. In this sense, this work addresses the experience of using virtual teaching-learning environments in the training of designers in the distance modality from the views of students and teachers; as well as a comparative analysis of teaching satisfaction expressed through the results of surveys carried out with teachers and students.
