Abstract
The world of mathematics and geometry are part of our daily lives, even if we do not realize it. In university teaching of Design, the recognition of the need to study mathematics, as well as the definition of the contents or topics that should remain in the knowledge system of this professional, has been a problem.
In each design project there is an emphasis on its artistic and creative component, however, there are hidden mathematics whose mission is to go unnoticed.
There are numerous interactions between Mathematics and Design, this work aims to address why the answer is Yes to the question “Does a designer need to learn Mathematics?”
