Nereyda Santa Cruz VelƔzquez
Eglis Cortina Bruzón
Abstract
The formation of values āāfrom dance appreciation for students of the Higher Institute of Design constitutes an educational experience that set the objective of developing extracurricular and extension actions that favor integrality in students in higher education. The population is limited to students from the Higher Institute of Design of the University of Havana. The survey as a data collection instrument made it possible to identify the specific needs, interests and motivations of the subjects, by linking artistic elements based on their profession. The results are achieved with the development of educational, ideological, cognitive, aesthetic and recreational actions, achieving more participatory and committed students, with feelings of cooperation and mutual help, through interdisciplinarity.
A pedagogical experience with student assistants at Higher Institute of Desing
Elisa Yanes
Rafael F. Ruiz de Quevedo
Abstract
The work exposes the experiences in the teaching of Political Economy with the use of student assistants, in a subject that is not the rector at the Higher Institute of Design (ISDi), it did not turn out to be one of the most accepted by the students and, nevertheless, for years it has been able to approach several design students who, with a high interest and pedagogical vocation, have offered their collaboration so that the teaching and assimilation of Political Economy among their own classmates is better channeled.
These student assistants have been direct participants in the class preparation process; in the development of teaching aids; in teaching program classes; in the execution of several of the pedagogical actions included in the System of actions to raise the level of economic culture of ISDi students; in the control of teaching performance and evaluation.
Design Exhibitions in Three Phase
Yurima Calero Balmaseda
Abstract
In the current revisions in the historiography of design, one of the topics of reflection and analysis is the contribution of exhibition spaces to the process of establishing design as a discipline. The objective of this work, in a brief and systematic way, is to explore a set of design exhibitions organized in Europe, the United States and Cuba during three key stages of the history of design. Thus, the article is the result of the analysis of bibliographic sources using general methods such as historical-logical and inductive-deductive. Design exhibitions are identified as spaces for analysis and assessment of the history of design by providing a narrative of the trends, designers and design artifacts relevant to the development of the discipline.
